The rain and ice has left the building, well at the least the rain did. Aaron, Jen and I left the house bright and early for the Vashon Island ferry in West Seattle last Saturday. Around our second corner Aaron leaned a bit too much into the turn and hit the deck, but hopped back to his feet with a smile...it scared me a bit. We caught the ferry and hooked up with G-money for about 55 miles on Vashon. That is quite unbelievable after you know that the island is only 13 miles from the northern ferry dock to the southern ferry dock. Lots of hills and some good conversation had us all entertained and we had a blast and soaked in some of the great views.
