Monday night saw the BEAST adventure race take place out at Rattlesnake lake, it was the 4th and final race of the series put on by our friends at Mergeo.com. I raced it with my dad and he had an absolute blast competing in his first adventure race ever. Not bad for a 58 year old ;-) He did very well and enjoyed the strategy behind our routes and the biking. The orienteering proved to be fun and there were a couple of side tests thrown in there to keep the racers on their toes.
Now back to training and I am starting to look forward to our next race which for me will be the 24 hour Trioba. ANyone up for Mailbox this week????
