A crew of some DART homies, some family and some friends rolled down to Hood River, Oregon to celebrate RVG's (That's me) birthday in style. We kicked the weekend off with a carbo loading pasta dinner and some vino. Saturday started off with an all out assualt on the trails out of White Salmon and a 4 hour ride with some out of this world downhills and a nice set of climbs.
Saturday night was filled with Mexi food, Margaritas, pies in my face, scorpions and some classic Karaoke performed by Colonel Sanders.
Sunday was a blast as we hit teh Whooptie Doo trail, ate some lunch at Andrew's and Matt and I followed that up with another sesssion out of White Salmon. It's tough to leave Hood River after such a great weekend....we will be back.
We (Jen, Matt and Myself) decided we need to hook up some serious trainings down near Hood River in the future.
